Society For Human Resource Management - Top 50 Small & Medium Companies to work for in America, 2008
Cascade Asset Management, a national leader in providing full service IT asset retirement solutions, has been named one of the top 50 Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America.The list was announced on June 23 before an audience of more than 15,000 at the Society for Human Resource Management's (SHRM) 60th Annual Conference & Exposition in Chicago.
Best Places to Work – 2008, Madison Magazine
Cascade Asset Management has been recognized as one of 2008 Best Places to Work in Madison, Wisconsin by Madison Magazine and WISC-TV’s Live at Five along with Next Generation Consulting. Winners of the 2008 Best Places to Work recognition were selected through an extensive assessment process focusing on six areas of employee engagement. These six areas included: trust, management, development, rewards, connection, and life-work balance. This year’s winners were chosen because they ranked the highest, over 85 percent, in all six dimensions of employee engagement.
Fastest Growing Companies in the U.S. – 2007, Inc. Magazine
Cascade Asset Management joined the revered ranks of the Inc. 5000 fastest growing private companies in the US for the period from 2004 – 2006. This inaugural Inc. 5000, an extension of Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 500 list, identifies companies who are changing the landscape of American business and honors their ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit. Cascade ranked in the top 25 of its category, Computers and Electronics, and 12th among Wisconsin companies. This is an overall rank of 1,193, with three-year revenue growth of 300.6%. Read more
Outstanding Achievement in Recycling – 2007,
Associated Recyclers of Wisconsin
Cascade Asset Management received the “Outstanding Achievement in Recycling” award for 2007. Each year the Associated Recyclers of Wisconsin award program recognizes businesses, organizations, and individuals who exemplify AROW’s mission throughout the state and has excelled in their recycling program.
“Cascade Asset Management has demonstrated leadership in the computer recycling industry by setting best management practices and striving for continuous improvement,” declared Joe Van Rossum, President of AROW. “They have played a key role in developing an infrastructure for environmentally responsible computer recycling in Wisconsin. Cascade has also demonstrated innovation through their rebate program that shares revenue from recovered materials with its customers.” Read more.
Member of the Year (Kevin Myrant) – 2006,
National Association for Information Destruction
Cascade’s Information Security Manager, Kevin Myrant, was recognized by the pre-eminent association in the information destruction industry with the Member of the Year award. His contributions to new standards development in the electronics sector provided invaluable resources and direction to the association and its nearly 1,000 members.

Champion for Change - 2005, Hospitals for a Healthy Environment
Cascade Asset Management was recognized as the first computer and electronic equipment recycler to commit to the “Champion for Change” program with Hospitals for a Healthy Environment, a landmark initiative to improve environmental performance in health care.
“Cascade Asset Management is helping to change the culture of the health care industry by developing new and innovative ways to combat pollution from health care products and practices,” said Laura Brannen, Director of the Hospitals for a Healthy Environment program. “Cascade is committing to taking the lead on innovative solutions for electronics disposal, in order to help health care facilities reduce their collective impact on the environment and improve community health.” Read more

Cascade was lauded for its innovative technology to process cathode ray tubes and other electronics for recycling. Cascade is one of nine statewide firms chosen for this award.
