Cascade's Advisory Board provides a wealth of experience in a wide variety of disciplines to help guide our operations. Current members include:
Dan Olszewski: Currently Director of the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship, University of Wisconsin - Madison. Prior to joining the UW, Dan was CEO and Chairman of PNA Holdings where by organically growing Parts Now! LLC and acquiring Katun Corp. revenues increased from $26M to over $400M during his tenure. Before joining Parts Now! he was a consultant at McKinsey and Company and also worked for IBM, the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and Yasuda Fire and Marine Insurance in Tokyo. Dan has a bachelor's degree in economics and computer sciences from University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Andrew Garni (Investor/Operating Committee Member): Chief Financial Officer and Principal, PolyFirst Packaging Andy is a founder, partner and Chief Financial Officer of PolyFirst Packaging & Western Packaging, specializing in custom flexible packaging design, printing and converting. He was previous founder and partner in Advance Material Recovery & Memorial Scrap in the non-ferrous scrap metal industry. Andy has prior engineering experience at Kohler and Briggs and Stratton Companies and with Advance Cast Stone Company, an architectural pre-cast concrete company.
Dr. John Katers: Professor and Chair of Natural and Applied Sciences (Engineering), University of Wisconsin-Green Bay John teaches courses on industrial pollution control, waste management/resource recovery, pollution prevention, resource management strategies, and solar and alternate energy systems. He is also the Director of the Environmental Management and Business Institute (EMBI) at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Dr. Katers also works as a consultant at SEH, Inc., where he focuses on waste management related issues. John received a doctorate in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Marquette University, a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy, and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Business Administration both from UWGB.
