Benefits of Working at Cascade
Cascade offers a wealth of benefits, those of which are listed below:
Health Insurance:
We offer very affordable health insurance with a variety of options. There are 3 HMO plans and 2 PPO plans. All plans have a rich benefits package and low out of pocket expenses, including vision and prescription drug coverage. Both full time and part time employees are eligible to enroll in our insurance plans.
Dental Insurance:
Our dental insurance plan is through Delta Dental and is very affordable. Single coverage costs less than $5 a month.
Life Insurance:
Cascade sponsors and pays for $25,000 of life insurance for full time and part time employees. Employees can purchase additional life insurance at our low group rates.
Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance:
Cascade sponsors short term and long term disability insurance for full time and part time employees. The short term disability insurance provides weekly benefits up to 60% of the employees’ salary. The cost of this insurance is paid in full by Cascade.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP):
Cascade offers free, confidential employee assistance services for employees and their dependants on such issues as financial counseling, legal consultation, child care referrals, stress management, career development, and a variety of other issues.
Emergency Medical Travel Assistance:
Cascade employees and their dependants have access to free, worldwide travel assistance services in the event of a medical emergency when away from home.
Retirement Plan:
Cascade sponsors a 401(k) plan for its employees. Cascade will match the employee’s contributions up to four (4) percent of the employee’s wage per year. Employees have the option to match pre-tax or after tax (Roth) contributions and enjoy a variety of investment options.
Paid Time Off (PTO):
Full time Employees earn 12 days per year during the first 3 years of employment. Part time employees earn 6 days per year. The paid time off that you earn increases with seniority.
Paid Holidays:
Employees receive six scheduled paid holidays each calendar year, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. In addition, employees receive 2 additional paid days off for our summer picnic and the day after our winter holiday party.
Profit Sharing Plan:
Employees are eligible to receive quarterly bonuses based on Cascade’s profits and an annual profit-sharing bonus. This bonus program provides a financial reward to all employees when the company demonstrates success in its business.
Education Reimbursement:
At Cascade, we encourage and support the ongoing development of all employees. Full time and part time employees are eligible to receive education reimbursement for tuition and class fees for courses related to Cascade’s business.
Performance Reviews:
The performance of employees is reviewed regularly. The first review will be within the first 30 days of employment and again within 90 days of hire. In the first year of employment, employees receive reviews are eligible for raises at their 3, 6, 9, and 12 month reviews and subsequently every 6 months
