Resale Sales Specialist (posted 1/19/12)
We are hiring for a full time Resale Sales Specialist in our Madison, WI headquarters.
The Resale Sales Specialist is responsible for developing and overseeing online auctions and coordinating all tasks related to the collection, processing, and shipment of equipment. This person will perform the online sales duties such as identifying unique, items of value in Cascade’s inventory, prepping them for resale, posting and maintaining online auctions. This person will be responsible for all collection of funds and assist with the shipping of the equipment. The Resale Sales Specialist will also post items tested and prepped in bulk by other refurbishing staff and will participate in wholesale transactions as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of customer service or sales experience. Prefer experience that has a focus on technology.
- Experience using online auction tools.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a focus on communication with customers through a variety of avenues such as phone, email, and in person.
Ability to research IT equipment specifications and to identify appropriate pricing. - Familiarity with shipping methods such as UPS, FedEx
- Ability to take and manipulate digital photos.
- Knowledge of Internet payment systems (e.g. PayPal) preferred.
- Ability to identify items of value and research unique items for resale.
- Ability to use and understand HTML files for auction pages and Cascade Marketplace.
- Friendly, professional, self-motivated, and driven to achieve goals.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
