E-Scrap Processing Contract Available to Municipalities
Effective October 1, 2005, the V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government Cooperative Purchasing Program of Southeastern Wisconsin Contracted with Cascade Asset Management for the handling of electronics collected from community collection programs as well as from government institutions. Now all municipalities in Wisconsin can benefit from the VALUE bidding process and turn to Cascade for Safe and SoundTM IT asset retirement and recycling

Summary of Service Offering
- Pick-up of equipment from collection sites and inside buildings by Cascade staff
- Destruction of all data on computers and electronic media (disks, CDs, hard drives)
- Preparation of equipment for reuse or recycling
- Disposition reporting and revenue sharing
- Assistance with education and informational materials to promote participation in program
- Provide collection bins for consolidation of items
